Our Pastor

Pastor Ricky Pearson and his wife Sandra of 35 years joined Immanuel Baptist Church in December of 2010.

Pastor Ricky was selected to be the Senior Pastor of Immanuel from a very long list of potential candidates, while serving as Associate Pastor at Coronado Baptist Church on El Paso’s West Side. Pastor Pearson served in that capacity for seven years.

Prior to relocating to El Paso, Pastor Ricky and Sandra were the founders of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Richford, Illinois. During his 23 year tenure at Cornerstone Fellowship he led that church from start-up to a mature Christian organization growing in membership and spiritual strength.

Ricky and Sandra have three grown children, one daughter and two sons. Amanda resides in El Paso with her husband and their two children while Jeremy and Aaron reside in Michigan and Illinois respectively. Jeremy works within the Insurance Industry and Aaron is in the teaching profession.

Pastor and Sandra were both born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Memphis State University. Pastor Pearson went on to secure a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

“To produce as much fruit as possible through the implementation and fulfillment of the Great Commission”
